Smith College - Dawes House

Type: Interior and Exterior Renovations
Delivery Method: CM at Risk

Project Description:
The Dawes House was formerly used for residential housing. A series of construction phases have converted the building to a gluten-free kitchen (one of the first in the nation at a college), eating area, and administrative offices.
The scope of work included a complete overhaul to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression / alarm systems, major structural repairs, a new exterior wrap-around porch, ADA upgrades, numerous finishes, and roofing. In addition, a sophisticated storm water management system was installed.
