Roberto's Restaurant

Owner: Maureen McGuinness

                 Pete St. Martin

Architect: Emily Estes

Location: Northampton, MA

Description of work:

Roberto’s is a local family restaurant that has been a Northampton favorite since the 1960’s. The restaurant was looking to update their interior space and add an accessible ramp to the exterior. The project consisted of demolition, restructuring, and a new wall layout. In addition, Keiter Builders updated the insulation with a new spray foam envelope of the existing building. The interior space was remodeled to create a new custom bar, two new bathrooms, and a new entryway. Other interior finishes included new lighting, new LVT and carpet flooring, and sheetrock and paint.

Construction was completed on schedule despite a challenging timeline for a complete remodel and the compartmentalization of the space to allow the restaurant to function throughout the process.
